locogato11283 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 i would have someone do it who really knows what they are doing...its a tight fit lemme tell you.. Quote
Animalman294 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 I agree with Loco, you should have it done by someone who does it. A local machine shop can probably do it, but the guys that do it all the time already know that they may need to take a little more material off this part of the case or that part. Take your chances, but how much is it going to cost you if it's not done right...................... Quote

It takes a while but if you have time to burn its easy. I do mine by hand with a cut off wheel or grinder. If you accidentally cut through the case in a spot or two just use some epoxy on it. I use lab-metal http://www.alvinproducts.com/Products/Products.asp?id=1 This is the poor mans way make no mistake but I be poor. Here's a couple of pictures of a 7 mm I did. http://community.webshots.com/photo/209989...033666981RbWzBI http://community.webshots.com/photo/209989...033666981RNWvjE Quote

I do everything I can before I think about sending something out. I work in a machine shop though so I can do quite a bit of stuff in-house for free.
