I use the Maxima 80wt MTL. Tranny looked brand new when I tore it down

couple of months ago. Stock clutch discs looked bad, but that wasnt the oil's

fault. Lol.

Okay, I lied. I went to the dealer today to get a gasket and some engine ice and they didn't have MTL80w, so I bought the Honda 80-85w tranny oil in the red bottle since my cases are bone dry and won't mix with anything. Definitely my next choice of oil since it's an 80-85w but flows like a super thin oil. Probably flows a lot better than MTL, but I can't knock the stuff since it's never given me trouble. Try it too.

i dont mean to thread jack but it would be annoying to make another "what oil" but what if i run Redline oils all around and water wetter in the rad. ???

i put 10/40 Mobil 1 in my 50.

BEL RAY 80 weight. Best bang for the buck. I tried motul sythetic and my clutch started slipping. the stuff worked too good.

Not only do I buy the Honda oil, but they also sign my check every week. I owned the Yamaha before I worked for them so it's all good, just gotta support my employer. I don't really care for their 4 stroke oils.

I run pennsoil platinum 10w-30 full synthetic. Im a big fan of full synthetics and this stuff seems to work very well in my shee.
