crazyrotts Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I'm thinking of cutting my fenders, I ride mostly trails and we get into some mud too. Do the fenders block much or will I not even notice they are gone? I like the look of them cut. Quote
2strokesmoke Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 you might eat a little mud , but it looks cool so cut them off Quote
peterlocal22 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 i ride the same conditions and i wish i had not cut my fenders. infact im looking to buy some new ones. what colors your bike, we should trade? lol Quote

I used to run them they are cool. Just a thought for you since you cut yours. Quote
RIPPEN Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I love the way the bikes look cut but if muds involved I would deff. leave them on.. RIPPEN Quote
crazyrotts Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Posted April 29, 2006 i have an extra set of front fenders i might try it with them first. its not always muddy but i live in fl. and hurricane season is right around the corner. i agree it does look cool and i wear a helmet so it should block most of it out. if i could figure out how to post a pic i would. Dinner Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I cut mine and i ride through muddy trails, etc. And ill get covered more form the back than the front, sure a bit more comes up without the fenders, but hey...if you are going muddin, geting muddy doesnt matter Quote
DIRTMAN350 Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I was a little weary about cutting mine but i'm glad i did. If you look at the front fenders the only block about an inch anyway. Plus with the front fenders gone you can see in front of you alot better. Quote
korndawg Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 If you're going to be hitting muddy trails, you're gonna end up covered in mud regardless of if you cut them or not. I would say that it all depends on how you prefer it to look. Quote

differentstrokes Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 I ride in all kinds of stuff and cut both front and rear. All the rears were good for was catching my boots and getting scratched up everytime I threw a leg over my quad. No regrets here. Quote
becher10 Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 I actually dont like the cut fender look. Leave em on... :thumb: Quote
