billsbilletbanshee Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Building a 4mil cub. Everyone is suggesting 22/10/8. The question is how many paddles. Oh yeah I'm running a 6+ swinger. Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 I'm running 22-11-10 with 8 paddle and it works great.My .02 cents. Quote

91-421 Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Yup, They will be here today. Purchased the 22-11-8 12 paddle ultra lites from cascade. Thanks for the info guys. 504152[/snapback] I'm building the same motor and swingarm and same paddles, what are you doing about gearing? Quote
Geoff Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 you better hold on off the line. I've got stock bore with 9 paddle extremes and a +6 with damp sand I was ripping the front end up. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 I was running 11 extream super lites 22-11-8 on my 421 with an 8 over last year and I had to buy a 10 over, it was a handful to launch and not wheelie the crap out of it. good luck with all that tire!! Quote
2bzy2p Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 ya thats alot of paddle for half the swingarm,, better plan on getting a plus 10 at the least. or put 12 lbs of air in the tires LOL!! good luck holding it down! Quote
DRI4life Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 we run 20x10x10x10 haulers on the 421 PV with stock length swinger.. hauls ass Quote
9603banshee Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 anything over a 10 paddle with a +6 swinger is way tooooo much....you'll find out shortly it looks like!! Quote
BigRed350x Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 I run 9 paddle extremes with a +4 swinger on my 4mm cub. But I'm a BIG guy and my weight keeps it down pretty good. If the sand is tacky though it will climb the front end up in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd. It's hard to keep the front end down a lot of times. I like to jump and do more than just sand though, so the +4 is ideal. Quote
billsbilletbanshee Posted June 10, 2006 Author Report Posted June 10, 2006 I'm building the same motor and swingarm and same paddles, what are you doing about gearing? Well been to the sand three times now, Let me see gearing 14\46. Second gear start yup hold on! Quote
