fastbanshee8 Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 Not a good idea to re-use the head gasket. Quote
gipperz Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 Never a good idea using used gaskets. Spend the money and get a new one. Quote
NYUK Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 the whole gasket kit is cheaper than a top end.spend the 20 to 30 bucks for the cometic kit.take the time to do it right the 1 st time.or you will deffinitly take the time and money the 2 nd. Quote
BenBB Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 If you're in a bind, reuse it; hose it down with some of that Copper coat shit and torque it down, chances are with that few hours on it, it'll be fine. As others have said though, they are relatively cheap and you're better off with a new one... Quote
Wicked98Shee Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 LOL neverr reuse a head gasket ... it's pointless, buy a new one or wait until ya can get one Quote
