ghostryder420 Posted March 16, 2006 Author Report Posted March 16, 2006 wtf... i'm so confused..... i'm a pretty smart fella.... i dont understand how modding my shee would make it accelerate slower... its pretty stock right now but modding it makes it faster right? I modded my mustang and of course it puts more stress and shit on certain parts, but never the less.... it IS faster than stock can anyone give me a straight answer? i'm not interested in what is more reliable or how the bike holds up after multiple races, my bike aint a race bike... i'm interested in how fast it is, like in just one run. and how fast a modded shee is, just one race? im not building a racer, just lookin for facts. Stinger Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 This was some funny shit... 0-60 stock is 6.0 seconds according to some article I read...can't remember where I saw it. Quote

350TwinDeathBed Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Their Fucking with you dude. 487836 I was curious about this question too, but knew better not to ask it for this very reason. Quote
2bzy2p Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 because mods for the banshees are so overrated..all these so called famous builders out there have everyone believing that porting and pipes are the best thing to do, when in fact they dont tell you its not true. staying stock is better and mythbusters proved it. also, more acceleration = more broken parts. what happens when you accelerate so fast that parts such as the sprockets, chain, and gear clusters cant keep up? they break thats what. the stock banshee wont break those parts resulting in a higher win to lose ratio with faster times. most races use an averaging system. so if you run real fast on a moded bike and break something, then the next run they are slower resulting in the higher time. understand now?? 487507 ok i dont want to see u at the track with anything but a stock banshee..
