I never rode any sand so I don't know what its like. I love the dirt tho- tight woods, fast trails, railroad beds, nasty rocky hillclimbs, puddles, streams- thats where i belong.

ok ok hook me up too. thanks homie

^^^^^ I agree- please post some pictures if you can, Im pretty interested in that set up. Plus if you have any temp readings from after the fan install I'd like to hear what they are.

I have a 2006 banshee with pro circuit pipes and V-force 3s and a pro design air filter with no lid. My right side cylinder doesn't seem to idle very well. At idle and a little bit above idle its not firing nearly as much as the left side. The left side exhaust pipe will have a healthy amount of smoke coming out of it and I can feel steady pressure if I hold my hand up to it. The right side exhaust has very little smoke coming out and very little pressure. When i raise the rpm's a little, the right side will get choppy but it clears up the more I rev it. As i ride it seems to be fine as long as my rpm's are up but it has the occasional backfire. I have checked out my carbs and they seem to be in synch (as far as I can tell with my eyes and ears). I have taken both carbs apart and cleaned them out, but I think I'm gonna clean the right side carb again just to be sure. I have not done a compression check as of yet, that may be my next step, but if I had a compression problem, it would affect the engine throughout the entire rpm range, right? Please help, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. P.S.- When I let the bike idle to warm up for a few minutes, the left side exhaust will get hot as it should and the right side will barely get warm to the touch. The right side won't get hot until I ride it and raise the rpm's.

I love my pro curcuits. I ride only wooded/rocky/swampy trails and some fast trails and fields. Its a lot of clutch work on the slower trails, but I dont mind at all. Plus they fuckin rip on the fast trails!!!

yo i'm dying to race a 700r myself!!!

Wait your losing me... whats gonna happen? Could you explain that again? I want the taller tires for the ground clearance. But if its gonna screw up my handling then i'll stick with the 20's. I have full skid plates so ground clearance isnt that much of an issue, but it would be nice for water and shit.

Hey I am about to buy some new tires and wheels for the rear of my bike and Im thinkin of getting 22" tires for the added ground clearance. I ride mostly rough terrain trails, mountains, some fast trails. How are taller tires gonna affect my gearing? Currently I have stock gearing and tires, and I have a 13t sprocket waiting to be installed but I am going to wait until I replace my tires first, then mess with sprockets. Anyone got advice? Thanks

To Travel Longer Distances? How?
ghostryder420 replied to night's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Do the larger gas tanks affect steering or control at all? When its weighed down with all the fuel from a 5 gallon tank, can you really feel the difference on the bike or what? -

ghostryder420 replied to ghostryder420's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
i got it all worked out, thanks guys. my TORS is still hooked up for now, we'll see what happens down the road. I installed new pipes and reeds and it seems to be running well. tomorrow night after i get out of work I'll be able to take it out and crank it WOT to see if i'm jetted correctly. thanks for all the help. peace -
whats the deal with my 2006 carbs?
ghostryder420 replied to ghostryder420's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
oh that sucks. Ive been hearing all about TORS and TORS removal kits but never bothered to really look at it. Now I'm trying to jet and I guess its time to learn. thanks. need to get me an updated clymers. -
I have a 2006 banshee, does anyone know if my banshee has different carbs on it or what? I have a Clymer's manual for 1987- 2004 and the pictures of the top of the carbs seems different then what i see when i take my carbs off. I do not see my needle jet or anything... mine seems electronic to me. Does mine have some kind of electronic metering? Can anyone help? I am new to jetting so maybe I'm missing something or maybe I'm just an idiot. Thanks for any help.

Complete 98 Banshee Part out
ghostryder420 replied to harley_sr's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
what color is the platic? im looking for gas tank cover and radiator plastic. also need an unmodified air box lid- thats right, just a stock lid. -
Its my first time jetting, looking for some help. My bike is stock right now. Tonight Im installing a pro design air filter, pro circuit platinum pipes and silencers and v-force 3 reeds. My elevation is about 500ft to 800ft and the temp is 40-50. Where should i start with my jetting? I run BG 2 stroke oil at 32:1, which i am probably going to lean out to 40:1 from now on. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

wtf... i'm so confused..... i'm a pretty smart fella.... i dont understand how modding my shee would make it accelerate slower... its pretty stock right now but modding it makes it faster right? I modded my mustang and of course it puts more stress and shit on certain parts, but never the less.... it IS faster than stock can anyone give me a straight answer? i'm not interested in what is more reliable or how the bike holds up after multiple races, my bike aint a race bike... i'm interested in how fast it is, like in just one run. and how fast a modded shee is, just one race? im not building a racer, just lookin for facts.

Anybody know the approximate 0-60mph time for a stock banshee? how about a piped banshee or any other mods? I'm just wondering how banshees compare to cars. I got a pretty hot mustang and I want to know which is faster.
