smkmupbanshee Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I like the clear covers, they provide a funicition also IMO... Quote
bkabina Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I was going to get the solid billet cover but I am sticking with the clear one.I had some of the bolts come out that hold the lock-up on and I would have never seen it if I had the billet cover. It's nice being able to see whats going on in there.Good thing I caught it before they done some major damage. My clutch didnt get harder to pull with the lock-up installed either. Quote
9603banshee Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 yup, good thing you caught that, I've seen some when that's happened...NOT GOOD! One real nice thing about DIRECT DRIVE lockup's you can change the insert from billet to clear for like $35 or vise versa, they also come in smoked, red, & blue lexan.... Quote
broke Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I would also put a pancake bearing in also, Thats so you dont weld the ball to your clutch rod. 481025[/snapback] Do you have any info on that. Price, manufacturer, what is needed to install? Thanks Quote
