Yaxy Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 Guys, While looking at my shee shift forks they appear to be a bit worn and need to be replaced. Since I am replacing the foks I am wondering if the RZ forks will work on the Shee drum? From what I have read most people replace both but am not sure if this is necessary. If replacing both is required is the improved shifting from the forks, drum or the combination. Please help. Thanks for your help Chris Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 I'm about 90% they're the same it's just the floating pins in the shift forks that make the difference, I'll have both on the table in a couple days i'll compare to be sure Quote
NYUK Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 yes they will work perfectly, i ran them in my drag bike, rz forks are beefier.and will not sharpen and thin like banshee forks.at least not as quickly.i ran rz forks, banshee drum. Quote

Thanks Chris 477505[/snapback] Yamaha does NOT make them anymore, they now spec Banshee shift forks for RZ replacements. Ebay is going to be your best bet. I actually found mine through a member here (thanks Jared). Quote
