AZ Olie Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 No my Shee is NOT stock... I was just saying that their is some people that might have a stock Shee and the 4-stroke squad might think and say from their mouth that they smoked a Banshee... Pipe it down, get off my back and quit jumping to conclusion's... Later, Olie Quote
broke Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Well of course its going to beat everything in stock form, its already 49" wide. I would be surprised if it WAS a close race. Now compare it to a 450r and yfz450 with axles and a-arms, and then it would be something worth reading. Everything has been hyped to death when it first came out, and after awhile, people realize its not the greatest at everything. Remember the 400ex was supposed to be as fast as a banshee . 468807 I have the article and the quads they tested were Gust/Jones actual quads against a built 450R. You have to take into consideration that Gust was holeshotting this thing. I'm going to guess he can out ride just about anybody they line him up with at a photo shoot. It's going to move the bar up that much more. With the way thing are advanicing right now, quads should jump in technology in a month what it used to do in ten years. The new Z is the new quad to beat, and this coming from a Yamaha nut. Quote
Too Many Toys Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 No my Shee is NOT stock... Pipe it down, get off my back and quit jumping to conclusion's... Later, Olie 469000 Easy fella. The only one jumping to conlusions is you. I never said that your banshee was stock. I said that "if you have a stock banshee you deserve to get beat" not directed at you specifically at all. The only person that would take offense to that is someone that has a stock banshee. Or has been beat by a 4 stroke already Quote

AZ Olie Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Yea I got beat up by a tricked out Raptor, : but I couldn't belive that!!! So next thing to do is Dump coin into the Shee motor... But I have to wait to do any motor mod's untill after my dune trip, for I have 3 to 4 week's before I get it back... But after it's all said and done I'm going to smoke a lot of the 4 sqaud's I might have to change the gearing so I don't have this problem... Sorry if I came out lashing, I just hate the fact that after 19 year's of production that YAMAHA didn't do any much to the Shee's So after I'm done dumping some coin into the Shee will see who has the last laugh Hope to meet up with some of SheeHQ people @ Glamis sometime... Later, Olie Quote
westexgt Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Gust just had his first race on the new LTr 450 and finished 3rd, I am pretty sure it was at Glenn Helen. Supposedly the power isn't as great as predicted, but the bike performed well for the first time out. Kevin Quote
