brianrides Posted February 4, 2006 Author Report Posted February 4, 2006 come on now whats your oppinion on this topic what do u guys think Quote
DemonShee Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 It's really hard to say. I think as time goes on and the etreme drag guys will eventually be paying top dollar for good Banshee's to mod up. I dont see anyother reason the banshee will stick around, as good as the thumpers are getting. Initially for the next couple of years I think they will drop some in value. Quote
Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 itll drop but like all things if theres a demand people will buy ! im stocking up so far i got 3 banshees lol Quote
Speedie Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I think they're going to take the same route as the 3 wheelers and 250R's. Quote
NYUK Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 drop in value any more than they have? Quote
Wallrat Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I think they're going to take the same route as the 3 wheelers and 250R's. 468578 And yet look at the Honda Pilot's. If there's a demand and a shortage of supply then the value can increase quite a bit. Most shee owners keep pretty good care of their machines though so I imagine it'll be quite a few years before there's a shortage of good used banshees on the market. Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I think the people who like banshees now will always like them. I've always liked 2-strokes and always will. hopefully the tree huggers don't ruin that for me. Quote
rjvoight Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Will it be like the ATCs(250R) where you will pay more for a used one than you did when they were new, I dont think so. I expect to see the price stabilize around 4-5k for a clean stong running shee and never really drop below that. Time will tell. It doesn't really matter though cause I will never sell mine. I may add a thumper for MX if I ever decide to give up the motorcycle racing, but the Banshee won't be sold. RJV Quote

You cant touch a clean Banshee that is set with just paddles and pipes around here for under 4K! Must be because of the close proximity to some of the best dunes around. Next time Im looking for a bike Ill check the east coast, even with shipping it would probabally be cheaper! RJV Quote
NYUK Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 e bay, craigs list, be vigilant, i am always on the prowl. Quote
Ducman Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 resale value will also depend on how much riding area gets shut down to 2 strokes in the near future. In CA you cant ride in most OHV parks from june through the end of September. A lot of people already want only a 4 stroke so they can ride locally durring the summer, although it is so dry and dusty in those monthes it kinda sucks anyway. Quote
Too Many Toys Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Your right. Banshees on the east coast go for a hellava lot less then they do out west. Too bad shipping kills ya. Quote

It only applies to 2 strokes made after 2002. That's why shee's that are 2002 go for more money in Cali than 2003's. Quote
