dawarriorman
So what exactly are you going to do if you use someone elses drawing?
87sheerips
CNC Mill it hopefully, I dont have time to do the whole design myself. Im looking to do some type of square tubing seinger, I saw a completely milled aluminum one on planet sand that was sick.
PUSH THE THROTTLE
It wouldn't take you that much time to design your own. Not sure why anybody would want to give you a drawing they are kind of proprietary. Why don't you do something easy like a rear brake blockoff plate or a front brake cover? G-MC
It don't take much to make a CAD drawing if you simply get the dimensions.
fast87
i think a mini swingarm keychain made of billet aluminum would be sick, same goes for a banshee frame, seat or anything like that..maybe some handlebars?? i'd pay a few bucks for something that nobody else has, banshee or quad related that is...hell a mini toyota pickup like mine would be fuckin sweet ass, even if its the size of a hotwheels i'd buy it...all aluminum of coarse, i cant be the only guy here either, good luck ~Mark~
dalegoldston
cad you need to learn Pro Engineer. I could draw one up in 12 hours or so. Hell in 2d it would be even easier. Call Lone Star and see if they any old designs you could work off of.

Hilarious
12 hours??? I'd be pissed if it took my drafters 12 hours tell me you meant 1-2 tops? I second that. If you using autocad, that shit is easy. 2d or 3d. It helps too, when you do that shit for a living.

87sheerips
Yea, thats all I need is the dimentions, I am familiar with catia, I-Deas and CadKey. Even if not a swinger, the rear brake block off would be an easy lil project too. Some swinger dimentions would be kick ass!!!
dalegoldston
Man if you can design a part, create an assembly then do a full dimensioned drawing with format in 1 or 2 hours. Then you are breaking land speed records 12 hours might be a bit much but 1 or 2 is not possiable. Hell you would have to draw out at least 6 or seven different parts then create an assembly off them with weldment callouts. But its all good. Hope the dude got his plans for his cnc project.
