Kayleigh Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 HEY so i live in the gay town of WALNUT, CA and just got back from visiting my dad's place in NEEDLES. i met this dude who had some quads and i just immediately became obsessed with them. i've talked my dad into getting me one, so as of right now, we're in the market. in the meantime...i'm trying to become an expert on these things. i'm new to this site and to banshees so go ahead and let me know what i have to look forward too (not that it isn't completely obvious...) signed, the Newbie Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 welcome to the site man first off be prepared to be always payign when owning a banshee. modding on these things is at first a passion then quickly turns to a sickness they are fast and full of adrenaline. when you hit that powerband its like notihng else in the world. when your roosting a corner WOT in 5th or 6th gear you are on top of the world. hope to see you soon tearing it up on a banshee. again welcome Quote
Kayleigh Posted January 4, 2006 Author Report Posted January 4, 2006 thanks, i'm way excited.... ...i'm already getting anxious to hear one start up Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 This Dude i see how it is What up KAYLEIGH Welcome to the HQ Family cant wait till we ride together Quote
dawarriorman Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 If you've never even ridden a quad before, i would suggest something besides a banshee. Its not the easiest quad to learn on (ok, when I think about it, its probably the hardest). That being said, good luck on whatever you decide, and welcome. Quote
Wallrat Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 If you can make it out to Glamis your more than welcome to team up with us. I'll also probably be in Pismo at least once this summer. I've got a yfz450 which is very fast, but also a good beginner quad. My wife learned on it and is tearing it up now. I've also got my shee, which is built up so its probably more of a suicide machine to new riders. Quote
Hilarious Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 I've also got my shee, which is built up so its probably more of a suicide machine to new riders Yessir, your bike must be related to mine. Welcome to the HQ. If you do get a banshee, hold on to the handlebars with a death grip and keep your feet planted to the foot pegs for the first time you hit that powerband. Quote
04ShEeLE Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 HEY so i live in the gay town of WALNUT, CA 454882 I didn't know that Walnut was primarily gay. That's okay, but being a virgin I wouldn't guess would be a problem in a gay community. I'm sure they have some glory holes you could visit. That might be the best way to take care of your "problem" Quote
Kayleigh Posted January 4, 2006 Author Report Posted January 4, 2006 haha...glory holes eh? i just may take that advice... Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 haha...glory holes eh? i just may take that advice... 455118 Uh uh Welcome I guess Quote
JET 99 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 welcome to hq, just remember you dont have reverse, your HP curve is not a upslope it will be a spike depending on how big your wallet, the suspension is dated, stock lighting aint as nice as the newer quads out, but a shee is a balls out blast when your on the power band Jim Quote
