hey.. a friend of mine just ordered a kit from (ASHOP) with sst's power cores 2, an billet intake, kn filter, and v forece reeds.. he told me (ASHOP) garrented him that with those parts his bike will do 90mph.. or his parts are free...

he also told me that their were guys on here that are getting 90mph with stock gearing?? or even with a 15th.

from my understanding gearing makes your bike faster and parts just make power to run bigger gears.. and accleartion of coarse..

and i thought it was imposible to get 90mph out of stock gearing unless some how you can pull 20.000 rpm..

is any of this true??? my shee will hardly do 80mph.. and i have parts on mine..

you could do 90 providing youve got a 17 or better up front and some horsepower........no ones pulling 90 with stock gearing unless they have a banshee motor that will spin at around 14,000 rpm ..sombodys blowin smoke up yer ass......

yeah i know it couldnt be done unless you had som serious power..

it can be done with 15th and more power then pipes and reeds..

any ways im looking forword to racing my buddys stock banshee.. i still think its going to pull by me top end.. his stock bike is faster top then i thought..

should be good..

i didnt say i wanted to or would go... 90mph.. this has nothing to do with me..

im happy with my slow banshee.. a banshee is a banshee..

i just thought it was funny to have a company tell my buddy his parts are free if his stock bike with pipes and filtter/reeds will not do 90mph.. cuz it wont..

anyways...

hahaha, did he get that guarantee in writing? if so his parts are FREE. even if he had the gearing to reach 90, which would be 16/41 at 9750 RPM's those parts alone won't be able to pull that gearing in order to reach 90. some people will tell you anything in order to sell you a product.

a slighlty modified(ported/ head mods/ pipes/filter/ etc.) banshee with a 15 front can hit 90mph ,but i dont imagine a piped only banshee with a 14 front will even be going past 80,...tires jetting, rider weight ,terrain ,all play a big part in this equation  who really cares... top speed is meaningless ,its how fast you get up to that speed, that really matters :bolt:
