What about the other religions that believe something different? What makes Christianity better than the others? What makes Christianity right? All religion is,, is an "idea", that there is something else out there greater than ouselves. I am not religious by any means, I follow the evolution theory because I can see it, touch it and understand it. I do believe there is something out there greater than ourselves, but it isnt an imaginary floating being, I would sooner believe that aliens from another place inhabited our planet.

If the christian theory is true, then every other belief out there is wrong,, and to believe that another belief is wrong is just plain stupid. Because it is all just a belief. Something you believe to be true but cannot prove it. Just because a book says something doesnt mean it really happened, some human had to write the book, so whatever their idea at the time was is now in a book called the bible.

 

BTW: I believe that we are making some breakthroughs in quantum physics, reguarding the worm hole theory, and transporting particles. So the spaceship theory on getting destroyed from a particle makes perfect sense to me. That is why I am apt to believe in travel through alternate universes or the sub universe or worm holes.

 

Those are my thoughts.

MR walrat.....i believe that aithiests have more faith then believers of God....i would have to have a lot more faith than what i have to have faith in nothing.....to tell you the truth....some christians try to shove junk down your throat and some dont....we just want everyone to find what we have found and some try to spread it the wrong way...its a glorious and enlightening thing, i just hope that you will find what we have found in one way or another.... im sorry that i have been ratting on all of you ....it was wrong and not christian like to do so , so please forgive me

What may be enlightening and glorious to you may be nothing more than a bunch tired out words that nobody such as myself cares to hear. I've recently become really angry with people preaching to me about religion and im sick of it. I'm not going around telling religious christians they are going to burn in a firey pit cuz they believe in god, so I dont think I deserve it either. Everyone has their own beliefs, and I can promise you that more you preach to make us believe what you do will only increase the difference of our opinions. People preachign to me makes me want to become less religious and never even give religion an opportunity, let alone make me convert.

Belief in a higher power gives strength to the weak. Not saying that's a bad thing. The fact is you atheists would LIKE to think that there is no God. That is

what comforts you...well good for you. Atheism is the simplest of all death concepts to grasp, and death will allow you to escape from EVERYTHING. Good luck. However, all human "sensors" indicate that there is something more.
