beeznuts00banshee Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Wheeler was running great untill about 2 weekes ago. I was riding with some friends when all of a sudden it would cut out and fire on one cylinder just when I tryed to go wide open, so than I rejeted it and put my summer jet in and it still does the same thing when i can get it started. My buddy thinks it is something with my ignition or the cdi box. Any one have any ideas HELP HELP HELP Quote

fast87 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 replace the plugs first off, also clean the air filter soon, even if you think it's clean....switch plug wires to see if the problem switches cylinders..good luck ~Mark~ Quote

beeznuts00banshee Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 Yeah but if you have any idea what else that could caause it to do that thou? Quote
banshee76179 Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Could be a number of problems, like Wielander said check the compression, check for good spark/ignition, clutch,or jetting/carbs.. 1. I would do a compression check 2. Do a plug check/chop (Do a WOT test) 3. Make sure ur carbs are clean 4. Test ur Stator Hope this helps as for the color I like silver and Black! Quote
beeznuts00banshee Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 okay sure thanks I will try that Quote
beeznuts00banshee Posted September 6, 2005 Author Report Posted September 6, 2005 Okay this weekend did a complete tear down. Now just one cylinder fires at all time. Me and a buddy Have narrowed the problem down to two thing 1 it might be the stator, or two the cdi box/ignigtion. becasue the spark is weaker than an old mans dick on viagra Oh yeah compression is at 100 in left 110 in right both piston look good and reed valves are perfect!!! 350TwinDeathBed Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I think you are on the right track, sounds like a frame color issue to me. 409648[/snapback] That's the funniest fucking thing I've heard in a while. If that doesn't work, try a new sticker kit. Quote
Virtualbat Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 sounds like a compression issue. 100 is kinda low. did you switch plug wires around to see if it ran the same? Quote
