  1. try starting it with the choke open and throttle wide open . whenever my shee wont start that usually works. you can pull off your carbs from the intake boot and look in to see if you have a cracked reed or a chunk missing ...!

  11. umm lean up towards the bars and unless the front end itd comming up so high that you have let let off to set it down then it is not slowwing you down at all sooo just position yourself better
  12. i have a 93 banshee and the tank was lavender and i also have the pink springs and man are they fugly yamaha came out with some pretty gay colors back in the day.....corect me if im wrong but i believe that the lavendar banshees were a half year and that they were the first to have the 6 speed????? because i have read that the first official year for hte 6 speed was 94? and NYUK how much you askin?
  13. because there is too many variables to your question there could be many different things at fault from low compression to an air leak to reeds and so forth start with copression and check for air leaks and go from there

  15. twist can be scary at first on a shee but once you get used to it you will never go back the only draw back is instead of your thumb cramping up you get arm pump after riding hard for a long time ......your forearm will cramp up and hurt like a bitch .........however once your arm gets used to it i think twist is tons better than thumb

  17. thanks for all the help guys. the stator is a brand new ricky stator, the TORS bullshit is all reemoved the little black box is gone. like i said before the stator is putting out good power. i just dont know what to think all the grounds check out good the coil im sure is fine because its brand new (maybe 4 hours on it) im just confused because it did the exact same thing before and it turned out to be the cdi (after i replaced the stator & coil). is it common for cdi"s to go out? if not could a short someplace in the wiring harness cause the cdi to shit on me? i had it into a local repair shop and they tor it apart compleatly and said everything checks out and that it was for sure the cdi. thats when i replaced it and it ran great,then it shit again if anyone has a cdi they arnt using let me know ....thanxa ton guys.
  18. new stator is puttin out good power when kicked over . the cdi bolts directly to frame never had any mounts? when it was running the spark was a strong blue...
  19. checked it and i think its fried but why am i frying cdi's left and right? all the switches check out fine.

I have bashed my brains out trying to figure out what is wrong with my shee. first off their is no spark, i put in a new stator, new coil, and finaly figured out the problem..... the cdi. got one off of ebay pluged it in and she started right up. ran like a raped ape .. for about 4 rides then again no spark. what should i do?
