Well today was the day. Day 39 of consecutive days above 100 degrees in tucson. Old record was 38 from 15 or so years ago. Got as hot as about 115 in tucson, phoenix was around 119 or so i believe, and Bull Head city hit 124 during this past month.

Cant wait for the cool off to get here.....

WOW, 39 days in a row! ... I think the highest temp it ever gets to in the UK is 100, and that doesn't happen every year.

Certainly never gets that high in Scotland.

Rare.

We've been setting a few records here as well. Northern Utah rarely sees 100F days and we are on our 2nd week of them. Today was kinda mild. Its only 90 in the office right now.

Tomorrow they say it might even rain a little. That would be great as long as it isn't 100 fucking degrees while its doing it.

I love the heat out in the dunes (Little Sahara UT has been around 106-108 this week) but here in the shop I hate it so much. I just kind of sit around sweating like Whitney Houston on a bender.

Hey Stan, I was in Utah about 3 years ago. We stayed at Moab, and went rafting on the Colorado and rock climbing up at Arches National Park (where I broke my foot :shootself: ). ... How far would we have been from Little Sahara?

Its about the same latitude, just head west about 200 miles or so.

Never been to Moab, but I hope to go visit one day. I don't rock climb, or mountain bike, or hike, or raft, or much of anything besides lift weights and ride sand dunes.

Maybe I'll just look at pictures of Moab.

Hopefully it will be a little cooler when me and the mrs. get our sort of annual trip to Vegas planned for Sept/Oct.

I'm not 100% positive about this, but I think I've made parts for that thing. I need to go through my blueprint archive.
