Banshee17Racing Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 I would try putting some copper washers under the nut. I did, along with acorn nuts and haven't had any more problems leaking since. Quote
fixitrod Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Recheck the torque first. If it's okay then you can silicone/rtv/yamabond the washer and the down in the hole. I believe you can buy rubber coated washers too. Quote
Fireman-hott Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Rubber coated washers. Tis the way I'd go. or even a very thin oring. Quote
Meat Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) rtv sillycone, or "Ultra Copper" exhaust silicone maybe. Edited July 16, 2005 by Meat Quote
bkabina Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 What kinda head is it?I have had my head leak a little like that when I first put it together.I have a Pro Design head and every time I use new O-rings it takes a few heat cycles before it stops leaking. Quote
