Just buy a prefilter(outerwares) I hade the "K&N xtreme Power Lid" on my raptor, and it did turn out to be a little restrictive. Which sucked cuz i payed about $110 bucks for the P.O.S. So NO! dont get it. Trust Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
slimeball Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 Does that outer wears protect from water? I had one on my cold air intake on my car but does that keep the water from entering the airbox and dampening your filter? Quote
2003LimitedBanshee Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 The outerwears are water resistant. After talking with one of the engineers down at Outerwears (on another issue) he said that they water repellant qualities of the Outerwear is usually good for 6-12 months depending on how much you ride and riding conditions, of course.
