50ish depending on port work. Porting will make "ALL" the difference in the world, so it's hard to say.

I always say my motors have 60HP. No matter what I build it will always be 60hp. Don't get too wrapped up in the numbers or pretty dyno charts. Dynos do one thing well, compare. As far as the number goes, who cares. But they will tell you if one pipe will out pull another on a given engine, or where the jetting needs to be tuned in a little more.

if you plan to have passion porting, why dont you consult with jim (passion re) on here

It's important to get a builder you can trust.I've never used passion, but have heard good things about him.You should tell him what you plan on doing with your banshee, and he should have some suggestions. He'll most likely have a pipe he prefers. If you mostly ride trails, then you don't need a drag port.

I have a motor that Jim at passion ported, It is set up to run on pump gas it runs great for all around riding and makes 65+ rear wheel h.p.

Yeah there right trust the builder unless he wants to empty your wallet. What kind of riding are you going to do.alot of people will tell you what they have, even though they have not tryed many combos.Good luck and yea it does not take a big bore to meke a shee fast.

Banshees have 48 HP Stock so what stuff would probably get you to 55 or so? not sure

No, they have around 32-35 stock. The best thing you can do is call your engine builder up and tell him what your wanting out of your engine and he will hook you up with carbs, pipes, ect.

jim has software that roughly tell him what the motor specs will make.

he will give a pretty close estimate. it varies with the pipes from one to the other.

just ask him. he is a nice guy and will answer your ?

You might want to recheck where ever you got that number from. Like Banshee~ said, they are more like the mid 30's.

Not to take a stand one way or the other.

The new issue of dirt wheels has the test of the first banshee

and states it has 48 hp.

Dirtwheels is not worth a damn. Is that the magazine that said the 400ex was faster than the banshee when it first came out?

Maybe they are listing flywheel HP not rear wheel HP.

I saw a bone stock Banshee dyno 32 wheel HP btw.
