I remembered a post a while back where someone wanted to measure their dome volume. ... dlnoss mentioned using 'rubbing alcohol' as it had less surface tension.

I get my head back tomorrow. ... It had already been skimmed and now it's had the domes cleaned up, so I'd like to check the new volume.

I bought a 30cc syringe, but can't purchase 'rubbing alcohol' in the UK, so what can I use as a substitute?

Rare.

i think the 70% refers to the amount of isoproply Alcohol it has the other 30% is water. isoproply is a type of Alcohol like grain or ethyl Alcohol.they do sell 91% isoproply Alcohol. and i use to get 99% isoproply Alcohol before sept 11 happened but not anymore.
