Stupid People!

So I was draggin at Sand Mountain yesterday (Utah). Towards the end of the day I was lined up with another banshee (younger kid, like 16). We raced a few times he beat me by a few bike legnths everytime. So I pulled up next to him to see what he was running. I asked him if he is ported? He was like 'huh'? I said ' are you ported'? He said ' I dont know.' I'm like' you dont know if your ported'? He said 'no, but I have new carbs.' I asked him what kind? He says ' I dont know, my dad does all the work on it for me'.

 

Now, I dont mind losing to a faster shee. But it drives me crazy when people are out there on shees and they dont even know whats done to it. I hate dumb people! There should be a rule that if you dont know whats done to your bike, you cant ride it! Ok- I'll stop bitching now

I hate that too. We always get the stupid guys from cali with nice bikes/wheelers that can't figure out why they are running so crappy. So you ask them if they rejetted the bike for the altitude change and they're just like "huh?"

I have come across some dumb people in my time, but one in particular takes the cake. I was racing a dude on a pretty nice shee... CPI's, and aftermarket carbs from what i could see. When i asked what all was done to it he told me "high performance powerband" Dude was as serious as a heart attack. I kinda laughed and rode away

I ran into a stupid person a couple months ago.I was out riding in a sand pit.And this kid came up to me on a 300ex.And asked if I wanted to race,I said trust me you dont want to.I have an 02 shee with hot mx port,powerhead,pt pipes ect,anyway we raced like six times.It wasnt even funny.He wasnt even close.Then he says if his bike was running better he would smoke me.I was like just get the fuck out of here.

a guy at work asked me what kind of atv he should buy. i asked him what kind of riding he did and so on, then made a few suggestions. he kept saying, no not one of those, i want an atv. i finally figured out his problem, and i went round and round with thim till he understood that 2wd quads are atv's too, not just 4 x 4's. i ended up telling him to stick to bicycles/mtn. bikes.
