What is the preferred air box for the Banshee?

Or is stock still good?

some companies produce aluminum airboxes

stock one is fine, just make sure you buy a pro flow kit for it. Dont want to suck anything in your motor

The airbox is made to keep water out of the motor. If you want to do away with the airbox get some pod filters, if you want to keep it get Banshee Super Flow Airbox Kit

It screws on to your airbox, has an o-ring on the back, and the filter uses a large hose clamp, pretty much prevents any shit from sneaking by. Unlike the half assed slide into place setup from the factory

Noss' pro flow kit is nice. I look at it like this- if you are going to be riding in wet conditions- get the pro flow adapter. If you are never going to be riding in wet conditions- ditch the airbox and get clamp on k&n's.

i dunno i perfer to run with no air box at all i get a lot more air flow but i run k&n filter's and pre filter screens so i don't pick nothing up, the only bad thing is ya have too stay out of the water,

I run a stock airbox with a Pro Flow adapter which has a big o-ring on the back with a K&N filter with a outerwear. I have a modded stock airbox lid with a Custom billet system w/ outer wear oval in the top of the lid and the snorkel end is cut flush where it clamps to the airlid which allows me to install a outerwear piece in the front of the lid and the stock clamp holds it in place....just trim the excess outerwear around the front of your airlid. With my snorkel cut back flush it left a big hole which acted like a vaccum sweeper.....LOL. Now the outerwear repels debris and lets forced air in. I Like calling it a Banshee Ram Air....LOL . I can try and get some pics if you like to see it...its trick!!!
