badassbanshee479 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 I am makeing right around 70-75 horse right now, I was woundering which paddle tires would be the best for my bike I like to sand drag and hill shoot Quote
ssanddemon Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Scat-Trak Extreme is the best tire BAR NONE for the sand. I have the 10x10x20 nine paddle, it's got a bit too much hook up for my factory swingarm- I look at the sky a lot. I should be using an 8 paddle, but I will be doing a +4 arm soon, so the nine should be just right. The Extremes (as compared to the standard Scat-Trak) have a bit taller paddle that is kevlar- reinforced; they won't fold over under big HP and don't wear out nearly as fast on the inevitable pavement cossings and don't cost much more $. jeepman380 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Yeah definatly get some type of hauler. Those hook up the best. I have some Skat-Trak Edges 8 paddle that hook up ok but i'm thinking about getting some 9 or 10 paddle haulers since I got all my motor work done. Quote

locogato11283 Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 i run 9 paddle extreme haulers. they hook like a motherfucker and arent overkill. that setup was 77 hp with a 4mm stroker and +4 swinger. 160 lb rider. we really need to know your setup to really get you where you need to be. Quote
89Steeda Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Kevlar is an option that can be added to the extreme. Mine are 22 11 8 10 paddle extremes without the kevlar. Quote
bansheeryder_69 Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 definately get skat tracks, haulers and extremes are like the same freaking thing, talk to the person you order them from before you buy them to see what they think my 2 cents Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 (edited) For drag racing you need 22x11x8 10 paddle haulers or extremes Triple buff Edited May 9, 2005 by rzcolobanshee Quote

badassbanshee479 Posted May 10, 2005 Author Report Posted May 10, 2005 around 230 lbs with a stock arm right now also runnig stock carbs till I can get some 35's Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 With that much hp you might want to get a longer swing arm. I am also 230lbs and have a +6 swing arm with a stronger eibach spring and am using 22-11-8 on 9 paddles buffed from bead to bead. This combo works very well for me at glamis. For gearing you might want to try 14-44 to 45 with a 135 link chain. Quote

I like to trail ride with friends once and a while, its not hard to change back and forth is it?? Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I've rode trails quite a few times with my +6, I don't even notice Quote
