1800bigk Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 (edited) 1/8th mile with 610 cheetah which I think has a +16mm or + 20mm crank will get into the 5 to 6 sec range with proper chassis. There is a 14 mil dong 5.8 in the 1/8th over on ps. 300ft dirt drag is really not long enough to get those big motors to really shine properly. that is why some 350's with proper setups are running 3.77 and a 3 cylinder +10mm stroker cheetahs with similar setup is running 3.6. Chassis setup is so important in drag racing, possibly more important than horsepower. Edited May 2, 2005 by 1800bigk Quote

badcompany Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I personally would build a smaller motor for 1/8 mile. Thats a long ride for such a big motor, but it might work good. Properly set up it should get int the mid to high 5s i would guess if it was set up right. I know of a few 350s running 6.30s and 6.40s. Quote
