kotin6 Posted April 22, 2005 Author Report Posted April 22, 2005 my suggestion is do a search and asked the builders some ? and go from there. 358658[/snapback] did it, I have already sent my cylinders off, Im not looking to get work done simply asking openions. This whole do a search anwser is getting old, I understand that you may not mean it to sound smartassed but it often does. It suggest that someone is not smart enough to do it on their own. Not trying to be an ass just making an observation. Quote

I was trying to get a more recent view on the subject and just take a poll wich I did not find in the search. If there is a poll on this subject that I missed than I am truely sorry. There is no need to be rude on either of our parts and Im sorry if I came off that way. I sent mine to Jim Edited April 22, 2005 by kotin6 Quote

They were getting tired so I figured while it was apart I would send them off to Jim to see if he could get any more out of them. I will let you know how they come out, but I'm really picky who I send my stuff out to, so only after probably 20 PMs did they leave for Passion. He definately seems to know his stuff and I have no doubt they will run great. I actually think that most people who complain about how there engine runs after it was ported, probably got port work that doesn't suit their riding style. Quote
kotin6 Posted April 23, 2005 Author Report Posted April 23, 2005 The only reason I had any doubts about Jim at all is beacouse I read some stuff by Loco, whos openion I value, about his stuff not working well for him. But I read around a bit, and called Jim in person and his demenor and knowledge set me at ease. My only afterthought is that I looked at Gorr's site and they offer cheaper service, 10% military discount, and free return shipping to APO, So I probably could have saved close to 200 bucks, but I think I will be more than happy with Jims work as I know many others are. Setup Choice etc... But remeber Everyone can have a problem with Part seletion when you run a engine on the extreme side . Is my motor Perfect No it isn't. AM i happy with it Hell Ya It's one of the strongest Stock cyclinder Banshee around Here. Would I use Jim agian Double Hell Ya. It make more Torque than Any Banshee I rode so far. My 4 mill stroker Pulls very Hard out of the Hole . In the Sand At the Hill we drag. I can put the back tires on the Face of the hill The steep part, Most like the 30 foot run so they can get the speed needed go fast up it. But Jim 12 port 4 mill will Climb better than Most Any banshee or 450 4 stroker I have come across. and when I do lose( Not very Often) it'is to Some underweight Little kid that's 1/2 my weight and he has Nos.
