Minkia38 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 anyone wanna go? I think it will be alot of fun! I've got 3-5 people locally that want to go...... Quote
blk02banshee Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 I WANT to go, but don't know if I'll actually get there . My girlfriend's dying to go riding, so it's a possibility. Might only be sunday, though, depending on work. Quote
banshdog Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 I will be there. I would estimate having at least 10 people there. We like to stay at "Silver City" campground.....I think? Its the one where you camp in the "Outback" section. You pay per person and can take up as much room as you want. Quote
bansha60 Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 I'll see if any of my buddies wanna go that weekend Quote
broke Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 I would have to do some serious wrenching, but that might be a possibility. Quote
sheefreak Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Just might be there. Am going on the 15th, try to get there about every two weeks. I have a nice free place to stay. Quote
fixitrod Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I'm starting to think about this more too. Quote
demonspeeding42069 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 ill be there sunday for sure!!!!! Quote
fixitrod Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 If I go I'll have duct tape under my flag with bansheehq written in marker (if I remember the marker). Quote
demonspeeding42069 Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 me and motoman thought of a better idea ... because when we went up ... we were lucky to find each other .... the duct tape idea is pretty hard to see unless u are pretty close ..... so we came up with streamers like orange or red that like u would tie to boards when u haul them on back of a truck ... im sure u all know what im talkin about..... but that would be alot easier to see flappin around Quote
Minkia38 Posted April 15, 2005 Author Report Posted April 15, 2005 well lets do this - everyone park as close to the entrance of the dunes as you can, get there early, then hopefully you will see other people flags/duct tape Quote
JTQuad Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 (edited) Do you need reg or insurance to ride silver lake? Also is it like paddles as in glamis or nobbies? Also how far from NY binghamton area? Where do you stay? is there hotels or do you camp? Anyone from NY or Jersey want to drive up? - JT Edited April 16, 2005 by JTQuad Quote
blk02banshee Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Paddles are best, but knobbies will get you around. No insurance required, but you need a michigan ORV sticker and state park pass for each vehicle. There's a couple hotels and a lot of campgrounds you can stay at. Quote
