Has anyone here bought any land to use to there ATV use only? I'm really thinking of buying some land now. 8 acres to be exact. There is no where to ride anymore and my whole family loves quads. Do you think 8 acres is enough? We really can't afford anymore at this time anyway. It's Recreational land only.

What kinda terrain is it? Woods? 8 isnt very much, but it's whatever you can afford... Hell, get a loan for a bunch of land, and charge people a yearly fee to ride on it.

My family has 40,000 acres here in wyoming and its not even enough. I've ridden all over all of it and know it like the back of my hand. Its ridiculous. Its kinda like mods on a shee. Once you start getting land you can't stop. We started with 35 acres. lol

I know I will want more, But we have a family with 2 small boys and a house so I cannot afford more at this time, But I want to make a pit area and a track. It's all lightly wooded now so I'm gonna be claring it out with my equiptment. It just is real bad in Ma & NH now. Very hard to fiind a good riding spot. Wish I lived in Galmis, CA. That looks like alot of fun. :)

i have 12acres here. its not that i want more land, we own 450acres in total, its what i would like to do with it. you get a feild, you make a track, then develope it in to a bigger track, and again and again and again... then you want more land when you are running out of ideas and space. thankfully im not at that stage yet. lol

You can't go wrong buying land, they don't make it anymore! Even if you buy just a little bit of land, someday it will be worth 20 times what you paid for it.

My great grandma sold her farm years ago for $250,000, and now it's worth over a billion.

My two brothers and I grew up on five wooded acres. More is always better but we were able to set up a really nice woods/mx track on that property. Like others have said, you can't go wrong buying land, just make sure you don't have a bunch of snotty neighbors that will complain about the bikes.

We got only 2 acres here. Got the dirt/mud oval out back with a few speed bumps for jumps... Still enough room to flat track the shee just don't dare grab 3 gear.. :whoa:

It's great for the kids!

I got a buddy in OK he's got 9 acres in the hills. We don't even ride his land. Follow the road rocky road down the back of the hill and there is mile and miles of old county roads winding through the mtns. that are only used by atv or those rock climbing jeeps.

So, now I am looking for anything 2 acres and up on the side of an OKie mtns side.

Point is don't just look at the land itself also look at the surroundings there maybe other riding possiblities....
