2001 Banshee with quite a few modifications. Starting with; AC Racing front bumper, Maxxis Razr tires(frt and rear new), ASV breakaway levers, Tag T-2 handlebars, PRM rear grab bar, foot peg extensions, Pro Design tether kill switch, new chain and sprockets, Denton Racing rebuildable steering damper, front and rear Elka Suspension, Toomey T5 full exhaust kit, K&N air filter with aluminum adapter plate, boost bottle, Boyseen VForce reed cages, bored .40 over, Hot Rods Crankshaft, custom porting, and the TORS system has been removed. edit: Well crap, I had a typo on the subject. It's a 2004 400EX. This 2004 400EX, Yellow in color, comes with the black, gusseted, frame for looks and strength(already installed). It also has a twist throttle installed as well. It has been ridden by my sister non-aggressively and is in perfect shape. We are asking $4000.00 obo. Thanks for the topic, i was searching today just for this. What kind of kits can you get for replacing all the phillips head screws on the covers?

Does anyone know who makes the waterproof covers so you can run with your airbox lid off? I have seen them before but now i need one and have no clue who makes the covers that just snap on and make box waterproff without rejetting.

It's funny. I didn't have a single problem with it but it was getting close to replaceing plates so I decided to have it changed and now it acts crazy when i start it up. Just don't change anything and you are alright.

When I start my banshee after it has been sitting for a while the clutch feels like it isn't engaging all the way. The banshee will actually creep along when I first start it up. When the banshee warms up it has no problem at all tho. Any idea? And i did just have it rebuilt with all parts being stock and DP plates i think. Maybe just an adjustment?

I need to get the Pro Design Impeller but ever since I left Indiana and moved down to Florida I haven't overheated once yet. Go figure!?

Anyone here rebuild Elka's, Front and Back, or know of any good suspension shops that will do this? I need them rebuilt and settings changed a little for my type of riding. i would like someone close to jacksonville Florida if I could.

If you are having a problem with overheating, Run Engine Ice in it and put an Inline Water Cooler in it as well. I had a problem with mine overheating while racing XC and it's great now. And Welcome to Banshee HQ!

May be the wrong topic but when you lighten your flywheel will it stall out easier? And what is the side effects if any?

No man, stay away from the 4-stroke. how much do you want to spend to get bottom end. I have all bottom end i need right now but it costs a couple pennies. porting the machine with a moderate mx port will do the trick.

I used the powervalve series from vitos. I think thats the name, it was a piston that acted like it gave teh machine a mild port the way it was cut. anyways, it was awesome, i had an awesome experience with them.

Anyone in Florida have land, especially in the North East region? We are looking for land close to jacksonville but haven't had luck yet.

Anyone know if you have a ported banshee and bored .20 over if you will get the same pull for the money and/or will i need to change from pump gas?
