Twist or thumb

I wouldn't let anyone ride my shee when I had the twist on. I just told them don't ask, this thing is way too out of controle to let anyone but myself on it. They were always like "I can handle it" ya right.

I have a twist and like it, but I ride sport bike also, just used to it. Never tried thumb but got a little scared away from it when a friend hit a tree and popped his thumb clear out of it's socket. We had to pop it back in! Found out later that he ripped a tendon and some other connective tissue. He couldn't ride for almost a year!!!!

Hi, I picked up a Banshee with a twist throttle and dont like it. What would I need to switch back to thumb throttle? Do I just need the parts/lever that goes on the bars or also new cables and anything that attaches to the carb end?

 

The bike has a tors removal kit on it if that matters. Cheers

Ive used both had issues with both. I hated the twist when i got my quadracer and after a few rides i loved it. The banshee is getting one soon but the go fast parts are more important.

what do i need to get rid of my twist though. I found out where the dealer is and can get oem parts.what do i need.

 

stock thumb throttle and thumb throttle cable? will that be enough to work with carbs that have had the TORS removed?

 

Am a bit of a newb to the banshee so need a bit of advice. cheers..

You will need the stock thumb throttle and the Motion Pro cable from their TORS removal kit. A stock cable wil NOT work if the TORS caps have been removed from the carbs.
