250r motor in blaster?

a freind of mine rides a blaster and he wants to make it as fast as possible (to keep up with me ) has anyone seen or have put a 250r motor in a blaster chassis? or should he just get the vito 240 kit

Either way i doubt he'll keep up with you, so he might as well upgrade to a shee

The conversion is a major fab job and the vito's kit is like gold spraypaint on a turd- He won't be satified by a long shot. He should sell it and step up to the plate.

Bah Put a 5mil stroker and a vito's 240 kit on it. have them port the 240kit to the 5mill you'll be pushing a good 55horse. It'll keep up with yah if not be faster. only cost yah around a 1200$ but thats a ruff guess.

i guess it depends on how good of a fabricator you are. to me, some motor mounts, rad mount, and moding a pipe are simple. I think the question you should ask yourself after if you should do it is can you do it. When you have to start outsourcing the work the price goes up pretty fast. If you have a cheap 250r motor available and you can all the work yourself id give it a shot.

The day i see a blaster pushing 55 hp for 1200 dollars or even pushin 55 horse without a 250r motor stuffed in there is the day i will sell my banshee and step up to a blaster

Contact Louie swan or vale at twistercranfshaft.com or his phone. He'll tell yah all about it. I've seen there 3mill with and the put a big bore kit on it. and ported right. It will eat a non-stroked banshee alive. Yah don't got to beleave me or not. just what i've seen and heard. yah also got to remeber a blaster is around 250pounds(can make it less) almost half the weight. It needs alot less power to go as fast as a banshee

My blaster is fast and just has the 240 kit with all the other mods. But the best thing to do is upgrade to a shee.

a blaster with a 250r engine has been done, many times, ive seen quite a few around here. and for those of you who think a 250r in a blaster frame wont keep up with a banshee, your nuts! You can get damn close to the same hp in a 250r engine as in a banshee engine, and its half the weight. Its gonna be a hard time keepin the front end down!

Hamuel, i can see your a blaster rider, im sorry my freind but the day i see a blaster smoking every non stroked banshee in sight is the day that.... I dont even no but that is just plain dreaming, im sure there are some fast blasters out there but there is only so much you can do to those tiny things, so if you bring one these banshee eating blasters up here and race my non stroked banshee which according to you will smoked piped, ported modded banshees which are everything but stroked, we will race for some pink slips, blasters may be small but i still can find some use for it in my garadge..
