Porting and trinity 2 to 1 carb

Being that my shee is ported and from what I know if I was to get the trinity 2 to 1 carb set up would I loose any power or tell me what would go on?

Unless you had a drag race port, you probably wouldn't lose any power.

 

Whether it would be beneficial completely depends on what kind of porting you had done and what kind of riding you do.

I just put mine back together with an agressive MX port, I am running a trinity intake and a 38 PWK. It runs very strong so far, but I have alot of work in the jetting department. It pulls the front wheels up on the pavement at half throttle through 3rd gear. It revs out alot farther than it did with the stock porting. I think when I get it dialed in it will be very impressive for a single carb set up.

38mm CV carb setup? Yikes! That's huge!

i was surprised how much gas a 35mm holds. when i took my carb out today there was gas all over the place i was like whens this going to end

I have a 35 and in the winter I use 230 mains and thats the biggest they make. 38 might be a good idea for me durring the winter at glamis.

I had mine before and after being ported and love it. there was no power loss. the power was incredible,pulls real hard untill the pipes quit. I also run a 38

run two of them and see how fast the fuel comes out of the tank...

who bored your carb and how much did it cost?

to bore it its $75 i wanted bore to a 40 but i was told its risky .. but that 1 mm give you a little more top end out of a single carb .... worth $75 i think

I have the same setup,except mine is a graydon proline system
