We bought a banshee about 2 years ago then i switched to a yfz but my dad still rides the banshee and up until a month ago he liked it until my uncle bought a kfx 400 and he kills my dad in the trails. Hes thinkin about goin +2+1 a arms +2 swinger and +2+2 axle with some works shock and a 2-1 carb setup. Its been ported out but it mihgt be a lil to much for trails and bored .20 over. Thinkin about buyin a set of virgin cyclinders and sending them off and done right. You think it will be worth it all or go with a 4-stroke?

Yea thats what i figured. But my dad being a 25yr expirenced machinst we are planning on making a arms and swing arm. And trust me the shop he works at has more than plenty of the right tools to do it all. Its just time. But other than that i was looking at spending about 3gs all together.

About ready to start all over. Got a shee a couple years ago and now its time to redo her. I bought a yfz becuase i love them to death but i still love the shee. I want to be able to trail ride yet still rip it up on the drag strip. Its been bored .20 over and ported *bad* sum guy did it himself and its really doggy. i want to get some new cylinders and have them done right. Thinkin about a big bore. what one should i go with? for suspension im goin +2+1 a arms with +4 axle and +2 swinger and works shocks. Some color powder coat and new grey fullbores. and misc other things. And a trinity 2-1 carb setup and either rockets or cpi in frames. PS. Im goin for a look like dunedemons only becuase thats by far the most bad ass banshee ive seen. If your out there pm me with sum advice thanks all

Being that my shee is ported and from what I know if I was to get the trinity 2 to 1 carb set up would I loose any power or tell me what would go on?

Me and my dad just got done rebuilding my engine and there is no low end. We never changed the gas from like 6 months ago when it broke down, but other then that I can rev it in 1st and drop it in the grass and hardly spin em. What else could it be?

exactly I did the same post at yfzcentral and all the guys get the same first email. He told me that he is getting married and needs the money fast. sounds like bullshit to me, but if its not whoever gets it gets one hell of a deal.

Alright guys, I know you probably won't be happy with this but i need an honest answer. I have a 2001 banshee toomey t5s bored ported some other goodies but no suspension mods. It handles ok but i mainly ride trails and I want something that i can just rip threw them with. I was lookin at a yfz or predator, but then i saw DUNEDEMONS bad ass banshee and made me realize if i should redo my suspensions and keep it. How would it compare to a yfz if my shee had +2 a arms some new shocks axle and swing arm? Or what would you suggest. Please help

Alright, the only thing that we could think of was maybe something with the clutch or because we only had 30 wt oil instead of 10 wt because its xmas eve.

My dad and I just rebuilt the whole engine took us a good 12 hours used the whole clymers manual and my dad is very paticular. We got it together and had to use 30wt oil in the clutch side and we started it up and let it run for about 10 mins and did that twice but now it keeps kickin into gear and makin a screaching noise please help.

Just imagine landing and having ur wrist crack that throttle and you laying on you back, about what i did on my friends shee, I will never invest in a twist. I guess lots of people like them but ride with one first to see. There cant be really any problems unless its not hooked up right

Im thinkin about selling my shee and getting a new one to start over on myself. I bought this from a guy about 3 months ago and he did tons of work to it but i want something that i can say i did myself. Its a 2001 with toomey t5s bored .030 over wisco pistons, shaved head, bored stock carbs, removed tors, +4 degree timing key, all new wiring, ac nerfs, answer bars, all new transmission, new flywheel, brand new sand shark paddles. What do you think i can get out of it.

Im in need of a stock flywheel my dad tried to remove mine with a jaw type puller and most likely warped it. Does anyone have one?
