jonnyrebel2004 Posted March 4, 2005 Report Posted March 4, 2005 I am bout to change the oil in my shee after a winter rebulid with a port job and new piston and rings. I am currently using Castoral 5W-50 I think. I had a friend who has a shee tell me thats what he used. I havent noticed anything wrong with it. I just wanted to see what yall used and find out if I should be using something different. Thanks Travis Quote

I'm switching from Maxima 85w gear oil. _dennis 333511[/snapback] i asked my buddy at the shop the same thing. there is very little difference between 80 and 85w besides cost. not enought to have an ill affect on anything anyway. just don't switch all the time. make the switch and stick with it.
