Animalman294 Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 I know that the power band is a little high for the banshee, but what can I do to get rid of the lag time at the bottom end? I mean you start accelerating then all of a sudden it hits the power band. What can I do to get it more even from idle to mid throttle? Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Trinity 2into1 carb setup will smooth it out. Quote
i12gofast Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 My boost bottle evened things out a little bit too... Quote
Flo Jo Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 Why get rid of it thats the fun of a Banshee a 2 stroke cus 1's not enough and 4's too many Quote
fromygod Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 my pipes made a noticable diff in the lower revs, the same for the v force reeds. IT aint gonna come of idle like a 4 stroke like Flo jo said thats the fun of a banshee, try riding a gear lower than u normally would, keep the revs up, i like to cruise just a little underneath the powerband, u get to know your machine, then, when one of those 400 boys least expects it, pin that some bitch and walk right on by Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 more compression and advance the timing 4 degrees will give you more bottom. Quote

Just cruzing along down the street, ping a ping a ping ping in third gear then, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I hammer down and the rear end kicks out sideways Quote
stu Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 as said before just try to keep the revs really close to the powerband....it can get quite hard to ride if you stay in the power all the time but youll get used to it, and everyone else will have to just admit there too slow for your shee stu Quote
