KRMit Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 Actually I've been contemplating building a ramp as well. A friend of mine came up with the idea. He wants to build a ramp on a trailer (or build a ramp and slap wheels on it) so we can just haul to wherever there is a good downhill landing and hit it. We ride on a lot of public land and dirt work isn't really an option. Quote

I don't know where the fuck they land, as I've only ever seen on ramp, but its made out of 1" square thick walled tubing. I don't know what they used for decking, but the deck was actually curved quite a bit. Probably a bunch of layers of 1/4 plywood or something. I don't have a drawing for this one Quote

However, I never saw them the rest of the day after that. Quote

jeepman137 Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 LMAO.... thats a pretty good job stan anyways, you dont need plans, just go to your local gardening place or some place like that and buy 2 truck loads of dirt, then take a shovel, and go to work, or rent a bob cat and use that... its not like your a pro or anything, from what i saw on your video i can assume you arent going to be making any money off of what you use this ramp for, so why waste the steel? you dont need a steel ramp... just build a damn dirt jump and hit it...
