The guy on the 600 must have been retarded. I used to have an R6 and I have a few banshee's and you would have to have a pretty nice shee to keep up with an R6 with a pipe & filter. I don't know about the cbr's though. Maybe for like the first 100ft you could beat one, but after you wind them out the crotch rocket would pass you like nothing.

Yea, i doubt that on a stock banshee <_< , but who knows, i could probaly beat most stock 600s through the 1/4 with an average rider.

what kinda bike you have that will out accelerate a cbr600?? i know that my cbr600 would flat out stomp my 4mm in the quarter. i dont see how it would be much of a contest as a matter of fact.

I have yet to find a quad that will put up a decent fight against a crotch rocket. Besides all out drag bikes anyways. Besides, put a couple grand into a motorcycle and they will go so much faster than a quad....

I raced a 600 cbr tonight and beat it through one light pole and a little more.  The banshee I was riding was completely stock.

define...light pole..our track as one every 15-20ft, i'd like a better understanding of light pole...I've out run an R6 on my shee...only b/c the fucker looped the 6 off the line...cause if you beat a cbr 600...i got a little 636 that will come play....if your within 200 miles of driving.

:rotflmao: i can only assume you've never ridden a cbr600 then.......theres no possible way a stock shee could outrun a 600, unless he ran out of fuel

I don't think it's totally impossible to do. I have both rocket and shee, though I have a liter bike and I think I could take it on the shee for a bit, maybe 60ft. Mainly due to the launch. It's a lot harder to launch a bike than a quad off the line. Though my quad is a little more stretched out than a stock one. I can't see launching my rocket like I do my shee without swapping ends real quick. The shee would have no chance in hell in a quarter though.

yea im in agreement here. i can see maybe 50 or 60 feet thru about 3 gears on the banshee but in the quarter theres no way. once you get going on the cbr they are insane..

Are you running a Power Commander?? Just curious if you've unplugged it and ran a stock ECM yet. I'm wondering if they are worth the $300.
