NMBANSHEE Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 You will need to get a cable for the thumb throttle. ToomeyRacing or Vitos bothhave them for about $20.00. Josh Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Are you sure you want the sore thumb. Quote
Wallrat Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 You might try posting in the swap and trade forum first. Throttles get swapped back and forth alot in there. Quote

Wallrat Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 I'm the same way. I jump on my wife's yfz and I'm like, "Gaaah I hate this thumb shit!" Been riding bikes all my life though. Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Started with the thumb throttle and switched to the twist and will never go back to the thumb throttle. Quote
05bansh Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 My brother has a twist on his yfz, scares the shit out of me! Just doesnt feel right. Quote
SuperChris Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 I had a twist throttle on my Banshee when I got it. I have since switched to a thumb throttle and the cable only needed a minute and a half worth of modification. Dont waste your money on a new cable untill you try your old one. I'm almost sure it will work. The stock banshee I swapped my twister for also had a stock cable that needed no modification to use my twister throttle. If you cut the springs down on your carbs, it will help your thumb out tremendously. Just don't take to much off at a time. Quote
