I hate the idea, because it is due to people being just plain DUMB. I read at one time how 2 stroke engine account for .0004% of total engines world wide and how they use like .0000043% of the worlds fuels. I dont know the numbers for sure, but it was REALLY low. The thing of course that gets them in such trouble and such a bad rap, is they have visible smoke coming out. Big deal, I know, but Mr & Mrs uninformed tree hugger are dumb enough to say they are evil because the smoke can be seen pouring outta the two stroke, but not their 5mpg suburban. Since the Banshee is going to be discontinued. Its gonna be swwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeetttt to have it go out with a BANG...not just a 500cc, but optional oil injection, and reverse too. (I wont get either) How about the LDE (Limited Dune Edition) for 2006!! With the long swing arm,stock chrome and stuff.... Quote

I know we import quite a bit of 4wheelers, but wouldnt yamaha still be able to sell them to other countries? Diesel engines are also being cracked down on. In 2006 all off road vehicles, plants etc must use a different type of diesel fuel that produces 94% less toxins and not to much farther down the road on road vehicles will be in the same position. It costs approximately 4 cents more a gallon to produce. I have my 2 shees.....and their will always be aftermarket.....if they do cancel the shee....I just hope it has a white rad cover. Quote
