locogato11283 Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 on stock bike id keep the sst's. if you are going dune or drag port or whatever id go with the rockets. maybe you should check out cpi's and shearers too. they are also really good pipes. of course there is always t5's. they work great on stock engines and even better on ported ones. bansheecaptain Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I have +4 degree key , milled head , v-force , 28 bored to 30 pwks ( getting soon ) k&n filter and powerlid , lightend flywheel , what would be a good pipe , i'm desiding between t5's or rockets , i also plan on porting some time . i do alot of open throttle trail ridin and dumes a couple times a year. what do you think i should go with Quote

Any self respecting motorcycle shop where 2 strokes are sold should have a bunch in various sizes. Quote

jinx44 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 The rockets made 2HP more in the midrange than my CPI's. For trail riding I would say they would be better than CPI. I couldn't get the stock springs stretched that far. Quote
