sredish, it is a fuckin beast. runs really well. cant wait to get it on a hill next year and see what kinda times its gonna run.

d34, i dont trust the dyno tuning too much. i already had to make adjustments to it also. only good thing about the dyno tuning that day is that it was the same temp inside where the dyno was as outside. my brother runs 33mm pwk's. he really picked up some top end when he switches to these.

what setup does he have? coolhead/domes,compression, intakes, reeds, timing, port timing, squish clearance

not hard 2 get 60hp with the right setup and those carbs

Eric Gorr woods port, V-Force reeds, Noss head with 19cc domes, 180psi in each cylinder, 33mm pwk's, t-5's. K&N filter with no air box, boss intake, timing set at +8.

We didnt tinker with it on the dyno like we did with Tylers. It was way too expensive. Plus, shes comin back apart again anyway. Goin with a 4mm.

nice....  glad to hear how good it worked out.  we have a local dyno that will charge $20 for and "undetermined" number of runs, basically, for a couple hours worth of running.  Cheap cheap.  That's awesome Tyler, bet it runs like a freak!!! :headbang:

i wish i had a link to the homemade dyno that a guy built for his bike

was really sweet and prob not all that far from accurate

if you understand exactly how one works it isnt allt hat complicated to make

yeah not gonna be a 20 dallor project but still worth it for a small shop or a halfway serious guy

Accurate? No two brands of dynos read the same. The dyno I was one this weekend reads about 10% less than the dyno-jet dyno I was on last year. My Passion engine made 76HP on this stingy dyno. It has a very smooth curve with lots of overrev. I'll get the graph up as soon as I get it scanned.

Loco, let me know if you find a few people that want to go together to rent the dyno for a day. I would be interested in throwing in a few dollars. I am wanting to try a set of shearer pipes. Right now I am running CPI's (which if I come up you would be welcome use if your builder can't come up with a set).

If we can't find enough people to justify a day, you would be welcome to come down here to the dyno I use. I think the guys that operate it are helpful and very good with tuning.

MY friend has a dyno at his shop, but it's for cars and you take the wheels off and bolt on these hubs that lock into a machine on each side. My bolt pattern is too small :( , but I think the '89 bolt pattern will fit. Do you think '89 hubs will fit my axle? I never tried, but I'm assuming the splines are the same, right?
