Clocked at 204mph?

Recommended Posts

I have my doubts...

In this case Tilley was clocked over the entire distance of one mile in 4.39 seconds. That is an average speed of 205 miles per hour.

I calculate it as follows:

1 mile in 4.39 seconds

= 13.667 miles per minute

= 820.04 miles per hour.... ha ha ha

That should have been 1/4 mile. So 205.01mph from your calculation. The news said 204 last night, I just read the article now.

in pa.it s an automatic loss or suspension of liscence over 100 mph.i doubt if this is actually true any state trooper would have just wrote tickets.or regular police for that matter.wrote tickets and let the kid ride on his merry way?i friggin doubt it.if thats the case remind me stay out of the state this kid and these cops are in.

My personal best was on my ole' 900RR @ 154MPH... You have to experience that feeling to know it. It felt like a wind tunnel looks while a car is being tested, a NASCAR! I miss my bike, but old ladies cannot pull out in front of me on my banshee! By the way, the kid was arrested... Where does a 20/yr old get the $$$ for that bike?

It was also on the radio talk this morning here in MN.

sounds like it was a very pumped up Honda 1000cc. And the air patrol got him at 205mph and 190mph. So he was up around 200 mph!

Also the guy with him got a ticket for 111mph. And here in MN you don't get hauled directly to jail but he will have a court date.

I can't imagine 200mph, I guess those cops kids have some $$. :yank:

Doesn't take much for anyone to get a loan and those bikes aren't that expensive. You can get a mildly (intake, ignition, exhaust) modified one for <$8000 easily, used.
