suprise Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Well i have a banshee 01 trex 440 standard crank 38mm twms ct drag pipes elkas tripleson front. Dual rear standard with an elka kit put through it dura blue axle eyeball a arms thats just the basics. i race motor cross and a bit off flat track how do you think it would go against all 450s and polaris and some other diffrent quads. I would like too know how people think this will hold to these other quads which they dont have ride just push the thumb throttle and all rest is done for em Quote
badassbilletbanshee Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 You race motocross with drag pipes? Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 450 will stomp you. they are the lightest, fastest, best handling quads ever built. they have 74 hp stock. you better hope hes not runnin funny gas. Quote

frocashmoney24 Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 thats funny right there, hell the whole quad only weights 90 pounds right, locogato , your mx/tt setup seems kinda odd, strikes me more as a sand setup Quote
suprise Posted September 6, 2004 Author Report Posted September 6, 2004 Thanks for the feed back. The 440 was for low down talk to help out the hole so talk was no problem at all and drag pipes are to help with a little more top end or get there quicker and yes i race a bit of mx and a bit of tt.I was running a 400 with toomeys and 35s pwks this is a new set up to see how i go against these thumpers Quote
superchicken Posted September 6, 2004 Report Posted September 6, 2004 what the hell is low down talk? is this some kind of new ebonics? Quote
sredish Posted September 6, 2004 Report Posted September 6, 2004 The 440 was for low down talk Now, that's funny right there. Quote
suprise Posted September 7, 2004 Author Report Posted September 7, 2004 tork then as in what would rather a 350 @ the start line or a 440 to pull you to the first corner Quote
Capone Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 The 450's piston return springs are huge compared to yours, you'll never win. Quote
suprise Posted September 15, 2004 Author Report Posted September 15, 2004 O well i guess ill find out shortly, but i started it and it sounds way more crispier than the 400 with t5s so ill let you know. What do you mean by the piston return springs are huge ? Quote

What do you mean by the piston return springs are huge ? the springs that pull the piston back down after the compression stroke. you can also up grade these and get higher tension ones. Quote

DUNEDEMON could probably give you a good idea as to what spring rates you'd need based on your mods. Quote

I hear those work really good, but on the same note I heard you have to get the Weisco's blue label crank or you might end up with some broken pistons Quote
