Doodle Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 I was wondering what anyones opinion between Pro-circuits and FMF Fattys. I have a stock bike that I just want to give a little more power. I really like the looks of the Toomeys, but there more expensive. If there is a forum where I can go to look at opinions of all different pipes I would like to know where to find it. Quote
Banshee~ Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 The fmf fattys are a good all around pipe i dont know a bunch about the pro circuits Quote
banshee boy 98 Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 i have fmf fattys on my banshee and they have a good midrange hit to them. my buddy had a banshee with pro circuit pipes and they worked good and they were smooth but i dont think they hit as hard in the midrange. hope i have helped and not confusued you Quote
Mod Banshee Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 I have FMF Fattys & power core 2s on my Banshee and I love them. They have Great power. But if I was to get a new set of Pipes I would go with the FMF SST or the LRD Super Adjustable Pipe. Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 are you sure toomeys are more expensive? check rmatv. or you can try some rockets Quote

Maverick302 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Fatties will be better. They don't sound as great, but they have higher hp numbers and better spread of power. Both are good though, pretty much opinion. Quote

deathmetal5150 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Which is the quietest pipe you can get? Quote
. Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 I say it all depends on what type of riding you do. I ride woods and have fatties on my one banshee and it has a controllable hit, but I find myself clutching everywhere. Never rode pro circuits. I know the T5's I have to clutch more than the fatties in the low rpm's and they have more of a lightswitch than the fatties do. On my main shee I have LRD's and love them to death. I never have to clutch them in the woods, and they have a nice smooth powerband hit that is in a broad rpm range. I can adjust them so when I'm riding trails I can sit in that sweet spot where there is a lot of power at the blip of the throttle. When you adjust the pipe, it adjusts where the powerband starts to come on. The easiest way I've found to describe them is they have the power and torque of a 4stroke down low in the rpm's and the screaming top end of a 2 stroke. Dont get a set of pipes on "the cost of them". Choose your pipes for your riding style. It is the biggest thing you can do to your bike that will affect your riding style. Quote
