Splitting the ol' case? Stator? Gears?

Still workin on my blown up shee... I"M BROKE. Any who, do i have to pull the stator and gears on the other side of the crank to split the case? I'm putting in a new crank.

If money is tight -than you dont want to guess and go-get the clymers manuel-it will be money well spent-there is a clip behind the clutch-and yes you have to remove the clutch assembly,flywheel and stator-but not the gears and--------------get the book
