NYUK Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 If you take it for quarterly maintenace should there be a problemhow unreliable is the shee is it the driver or the banshee my man,a banshee is pretty simple, change the oil, lube all grease zerks, make sure no bolts vibrate loose, clean the air filter, keep proper chain slack and lube the chain.the more you ride one the more you notice.your question is pretty vague.simple preventative maint. and upkeep will save you alot of headaches. BUY A CLYMER MANUAL. it s the banshee owners bible slash textbook. you are never done with it.you will always need it as long as you own a banshee. best 17.00 ever spent. Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 keep up on maitanance and you wont have problems. Most people confuse maintanence with being unreliable. If you dont give a Banshee the mantenance it needs its going to just fall apart and burst into flames (well maybe not ) If you want low maintanece get a Warrior, all you have to do is put gas in it. Christian Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I have a question, and its kinda on the same lines as this meth..... Everyone says a banshee handles like crap, and is only good for drag`s any truth to this?...as I want a bike that will do a bit of everything, from playing in the dirt at the desert to roosting around on the dunes.ButI also dont want to drop large amounts of money to make it handle..... can any one sheed some light on this ??? hamuel Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 I Don't know where every one comes from saying shee's handle like dirt. There's just alot of ass work to get her pointed in the right direction.. Wouldn't trade her for a 400ex or a 250r for handling if that's what your asking. Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 if you go from a 250 R to a banshee the banshee isn't gona handle great the 250R is lighter and a better frame desighn and has less bump steer but the banshee dousn't handle like crap so to speak just not as well if you have never rode a honda 250 R or 400 ex and get one a banshee your gona say seems to handle great to me and you will never think other wise Quote
