xt45 Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 How Many Hours Before Full Tank(I think 3.2 Gallons) Become Empty Tank? 1. Driving Extensively ? 2. Driving Moderately ? Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 dude, just go out and find out. that would be the most accurate way to find out. why you wanna know anyway? Quote
banshee04le Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 I would say about 2hrs of ripping around hard on it or 4hrs of pussin around with trail breaks. Quote
Hockey390 Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 (edited) 3.762 hours unless you use the breaks more then 5 times per minute. breaking > 6x/hr = 3.841, breaking < 2x/hr = 2.568 heres the equation X = Y/Z where: x = get on your quad y = amount of gas in gallons z = amount of time riding in hours Edited June 28, 2004 by Hockey390 Quote

dogboystoy Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 Well to help you out a little, My buddy got 50 miles (I think thats what he said), to a tank, when he was at some poker run going from town to town, hauling ass. I mean he ran it bone dry, had to use the reserve, and barely made it. His quad is stock, even the air filter. Quote
98bonerSTOCKshee Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 hours? you got to be kidding, Right? I once got a close estimate of mileage, right after the T-5's were added. It was way out in east Texas near my Bro-in-Laws land, wide open dirt roads. We went from his farm stopping @ a few and I mean a few play spots, but more the less straight to his house. He said it's about 11 miles along these dirt roads one direction. About a 1/4 mile before we got back to the farm I switched to reserve. So I used my formula. (L/?) I looked in the tank. So if my caluclations are right (which I doubt) I say 30 miles to a tank of petro. Quote
