Banshee Vs. Ds650

At the end they say the DS is king of the sand over a Banshee. I dunno if I'd wanna agree with that. It could be a nice machine, I've never ridden one, but that's all the Banshee has is to be king of the dunes. That's what everyone has always known it as. Looks like that's going to change...Or is it!?

Put it this way nothing can be king if it does its best in comparison in a stock vs stock form. Banshees blow with stock stuff such as pipes.

Didn't you just love the way they ragged on the Banshee for starting so poorly! They said that they kicked and kicked to get it started till they were almost worn out.

 

What a bunch of crap, mine almost always starts on the 1st kick, and it always has.

 

That article was almost as biased as the old 400ex vs Banshee article, which BTW said the 400EX would beat the Banshee in a drag race.

 

I still have a subscription to Dirt Wheels just to see what new quads and products come out, the shootouts are too biased.

Ya I dunno...Usually they aren't that biased about things, lately anyways, til I read that. That just blows my mind. Was it not broken in properly yet? Were they in some magical dunes where it was 10 degrees? Who knows, but there's no way that was a proper way to start it out.

I never had starting problems in stock form when cold always by 2nd kick it would fire. As for the DS LOL .

They must be idiots if they cant start a Banshee. I got mine from my uncle a few years ago and its an 87. I pulled it out of storage and changed the gas in it, because it had been sitting for like over 10 years. once i got the new gas in it and i started the second kick!! Now is thats hard to start someone has problems.
