svtkid78 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 get a 250r or a new 450 then go to town. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 use a blaster, that way its cheap and easy to fix, cause u'll be wreckin shit left and right, get it on camra, and have that person trained in first aid Quote
Kg8 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 start out with nac-nacs and nofooters, and other easy stuff like that until you get the feel of letting go in the air Quote
MotulMonsta Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 You need to get big air with at least 3-4 seconds of stable flight. If your fighting your bike for control in the air forget it, you'll crash....I'm talkin BIG air..like the kind that will f*ck you up if you f*ck up. Quote
SICK BOY Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 You'll need to get big air to have the time to pull off the bigger tricks. The video taping is a good idea too, becuse you may win some cash on America's Funnist Home Videos. Quote
ledofthezep Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 1st- setup your bike to handle the abuse. 2nd- don't get crazy with tricks until you can get good air & be comfortable on it, don't get fancy until you get the take off & landing down. I'd suggest start with little air & work your way up slowly...if you're building your own dirt ramps with a tractor this is not hard to do. 3rd- wear protective gear(may be suggested to keep a spare set of undies around) 4th- be prepared to F*ck up, it's bound to happen 5th- have at least one person there to watch/tote your arse to the ER if needed 6th- don't ride over your head Just a few things that came to mind...
